I've spent more than an hour with tech support on a chat today and he remotely connected to my computer and attempted to correct the problem.
He tried to uninstall my Norton Utilities 15 and couldn't so he uninstalled and re-installed Norton Internet Security informing that the program had some corrupted files. The page takes about minutes to load, today I had internet explorer stop working altogether times. The problem seems to continue even after the technician re-installed NIS I think it is a problem with NU15, it looks as if the program attempts to start up every once in a while giving me a pop up window that Norton Utilities 15 is missing some core application files.
